Clinical Trial on Nicardipine Hydrochloride in Essential Hypertension

Abstract
|
|
|
1. Twenty five patients with essential hypertension entered open clinical trial with nicardipine.30 three time a day as monotherapy.
2. At the end of 12 weeks, antihypertensive efficacy of this drug show excellent 4 cases (10.0%), good 18 cases (72.0%), fair 3 cases (12.0%), ineffective 3 cases. and thereafter overall efficacy was s sown 22 cases (88.0%).
3. Cumulative efficacy of this drug showed excellent 4 cases (16.0%), good 18 cases (72.0%), fair 3 vases (12.0%) and overall cumulative efficacy of drug showed 22 cases (88.0%). 4. There was no significant adverse reactions before & after this clinical trial.
